🌼 Thank You, Volunteers! 🌼
National Volunteer Week will take place from April 16 to 22. At this week's board meeting, OPL CEO Sonia Bebbington thanked the more than 300 volunteers who contributed more than 4,700 hours to OPL in 2022 as well as the Friends of the Ottawa Public Library Association (FOPLA) for their continued support. The Ruth E. Dickinson Branch has 13 adult and 25 teen volunteers who help us run our many programs, take care of our beautiful plants and more. Thank you for all that you do to support us!
🎨 Community Arts & Crafts Swap 🎨
Calling all crafters! Celebrate Earth Day by bringing in all those art supplies you don't need and swapping them for new ones! Help divert materials from the landfill and give them a chance to be used by someone else. How does it work?
Drop off your new (or like new) donations of arts and crafts materials at the Ruth E. Dickinson Branch during our hours of operation until Friday April 21, 2023
Come back on Saturday April 22 from 10 am to 12 pm for the swap!
