📚 Ruth E. Dickinson Recommends 📚
Rise by Jeff Yang
The history of the Asian diaspora in North America often brings 3 things to mind: railroads, laundry, and Chinese food - but there is so much more to the story! Rise is part textbook, part graphic novel, and part love-letter to influential Asian-Americans in recent history. You’ll recognize familiar faces in this book and learn how they’ve defied systemic racism and stereotypes to shape the global modern culture.
✅ Financial Literacy: Planning for Retirement ✅
Join us on Wednesday, May 10 at 11:30 am for a free retirement planning session with CPA Canada. Participants will learn how to become proactive and start retirement planning early. Drop-in program (registration not required).
