Apartment 713 by Kevin Sylvester
For ages 10-12

With nowhere else to go, Jake and his mother move into an apartment in the Regency, a building that was once elegant but is now dilapidated. Jake explores the building and when the forbidden door of apartment 713 opens, he walks through it and travels into the past - back to the heydays of the Regency in the 1920’s.

He meets up with a new friend, Beth, and together they explore the Regency discovering hidden rooms, hidden drawers and many secrets. If Jake can get back to the present, he hopes to use these secrets to restore the Regency to its former glory. Will Jake ever be able to find his way back to the present day?

This 5-star time travel novel explores the culture of the 1920's and is sure to delight fans of mysteries! Kevin Sylvester is the well-known Canadian author of the Neil Flambé mysteries, the MINRS science fiction books and the Hockey Super Six series.
