Whether you celebrate Yule, Hannukah, Omisoka, or nothing, the short cold days of December in Ottawa has everyone trying to find ways to bring hope and optimism to our daily lives. Some people have seasonal celebrations, some get outdoors into that sunshine at every opportunity, while others curl up for an escape with a good book. This month OPL is here to help with some excellent titles to inspire hope in these dark December days! Join us for a screening of Scrooge from 1935! This re-telling of the Victorian classic A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens is a trip back in time for the whole family. The film is 1 hour and 20 minutes long and English subtitles will be shown. Snacks will be served! Thursday December 22 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
