Are you the parent of a baby ages 0-18 months? Looking for activities you can do together? The library offers programs that will help you guide your child towards success by promoting language, literacy and social skills. Join us weekly for:
Babytime: Fridays at 10:30 am - Nursery rhymes, knee bounces, board books stories, songs and lullabies are basic literacy foundations for your baby and a great bonding experience for you both!
Early On Baby Playgroup: Mondays at 1:30 pm - facilitated by Early Childhood Educators with early learning activities for babies and a chance for caregivers to network and share experiences. A partnership between the Early On Family and Child Centre and the Library.
For babies ages 0-18 months old and a parent or caregiver.
❄️Gatineau Park Ski Passes
Did you know you can borrow ski passes for Gatineau Park with your library card? Each pass provides free day access for 1 adult or teen (13-17) to the trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or snow biking. You can find them with OPL's other Access Passes that provide free general admission to museums, parks, and other sites of interest in the Ottawa area.
To provide equitable access, passes are Express items and cannot be put on hold. You can check out one pass at a time for up to seven days.
