Ask a Lawyer

Have a legal question? Ask a lawyer at the library. On Wednesday November 6th drop-in between 1:00-3:00pm for a FREE 30 min chat with a lawyer from the Ontario Legal Information Centre. This service is first come-first served and Bilingual support is available.

Upcoming programs

📌Kids and Families  

  • Ready, Set, Kindergarten! A school readiness program for children 3–4 years old, who will be entering kindergarten in 2025, and their adult co-learner. Register online.

  • Youth Scrabble. The Ottawa Scrabble Club is hosting a new program for ages 10-18 on Mondays 4:30-6:30 pm at the Library.  Whether you're an experienced player or a beginner, the fast-paced and competitive nature of the game is sure to keep you engaged and focused. Register online to reserve your spot.

📌Adults 

Library Lecture Series: Remembrance Day.

Retired Major Denis Hotte of the Canadian Armed Forces will be at the library to discuss his military experience and the importance of Remembrance Day.​ Thursday Nov 7th, 10 – 11 am.  ​Register online to reserve your seat or drop-in on the day of.
