✍ Awesome Authors Youth Writing Contest 2023 ✍
Young authors between the ages of 9 and 18 are invited to participate in the Awesome Authors Youth Writing Contest for a chance to win prizes, get published and share their talent with the world! Contest runs from January 10 to February 24, 2023.
Need writing tips? Register for a workshop hosted by a local author and contest judge. There are both virtual and in-person workshops available! Registration required.
How to become an awesome comic book writer with author Éric Péladeau (Virtual): Saturday January 21 at 2 pm. Ages 9 and up.
Join us on Saturday February 4 at 2 pm for a Poetry Workshop with spoken word artist Apollo The Child. For teens ages 13-18.

S'amuser en français! / Fun with French! Join us on select Wednesdays starting January 18 at 3:30 pm. Spend the afternoon playing video games, board games, chess, card games, reading, doing crafts, watching movies or hanging out with other teens while learning French! For ages 13-18. Registration required.

OPL is pleased to announce that we have launched the Hoopla Comics collection on our existing Hoopla Platform! Legendary characters, classic storylines, iconic entertainment: they’re all on Hoopla Comics, and there’s something for everyone, at any reading level. There are over 26,000 titles from major publishers, all available instantly to borrow!
