The City of Ottawa has terminated its agreement with Service Line Warranties of Canada (SLWC), citing the significant growth of warranty services and insurance coverage now available to homeowners to cover service line repairs on their properties.

The City of Ottawa will open O-Train Lines 2 and 4 for weekday passenger service starting on Monday, January 6. Construction of the project was jointly funded by the Government of Canada, Province of Ontario and City of Ottawa.

The Community Services Committee today approved its portions of Draft Budget 2025↗, which represents a $1.5-billion total operating budget and capital investments totaling $159.6 million.
