Did you know: 1 in 10 Canadians lives with chronic kidney disease, which is incurable and can have significant negative impacts on overall well-being, mental health and personal finances? Approximately 40% of kidney patients live at or below the poverty line.

Bid on items through their holiday auction which runs from November 28-December 9th.

There are 35 incredible packages for people to bid on, all items donated by local businesses, and all funds will stay within our region to support patients right here in Ottawa and the surrounding valley.

About the Kidney Foundation

The Kidney Foundation of Canada is the national volunteer organization committed to eliminating the burden of kidney disease through:

• Funding and stimulating innovative research for better treatments and a cure

• Providing education and support to prevent kidney disease in those at risk

• Empowering those living with kidney disease to optimize their health status through programs which promote physical and mental well-being

• Advocating for improved access to high quality health care

• Increasing public awareness and commitment to advancing kidney health and organ donation

We offer several programs to assist patients with managing their disease effectively, promoting mental health and providing financial support to assist low-income patients with medical and living expenses.
