Women's Initiatives for Safer Environments (WISE) invites you to their upcoming GBV Art Challenge commemorating the 16 Days of Activism to End Gender Based Violence.

Gender based violence is a difficult and heavy topic to talk about but art provides us with that special space and canvas where expression and healing can come alive.

This year, the event is open to both youth and adults.  Local artists will be vying for 1st-place prize in various art forms: displaying art pieces, performing in the categories of dance, music, and spoken word on the theme of "Transformation."
