OPH works with the City of Ottawa and community partners to deliver integrated services closer to where people live, by providing additional access to drop-in health and social services at no cost. There are currently 15 Neighborhood Health and Wellness Hubs that offer a range of services.

Many properties sustained structure damage from the tornado that occurred on Thursday, July 13 in Ottawa. Tornado-impacted homeowners in Barrhaven may be eligible to cancel, reduce or refund part of their property taxes for the year.

Highway 417 and select ramps will be closed in both directions between Woodroffe Avenue and Greenbank Road from Friday, July 28 at 11 pm until Monday, July 31 at 5 am.

The City of Ottawa is endorsing the SLWC program to offer Ottawa homeowners voluntary and optional protection plans to assist in the costs of possible future repairs. This warranties program will help address issues such as unpredictable failure, aging infrastructure and the high cost of repair.

Rats are common pests that can damage property, contaminate food, and spread disease, so it’s important to prevent infestations. The City is working collaboratively with a number of departments in responding to rat and rodent control issues.
